Although there isn't much room to roam on the property itself, there is access to the Pere Marquette Rail Trail only a short drive North. The cabin is just off the highway in farm country, and is described as peaceful with a cozy interior. You may however hear some road noise if you are relaxing outside. Big Rapids is a 25 min drive for restaurants, groceries, & breweries. Plenty of amazing day trips to Sleeping Bear Dunes, Traverse City, Caberfae, and Lake Michigan!

Relax at our Lakehouse with a view of Chippewa Lake offering 790 acres of all sports waterway known for its fishing and spectacular sunsets. Lake access is available for entry to the lake for water activities. We are located 7.5 miles from Haymarsh State Game Area and 12.5 miles from Big Rapid where you can attend a Ferris game or dine in one of the many local restaurants. ATV and UTV riding is legal on all non M roads with your ORV sticker to explore the area or visit the local winery.

Peaceful & Cozy Private Living Space- Pond View

You will have the entire basement-- two bedrooms, bathroom, small kitchen area, & living room-- to yourself. We are in a wooded setting a couple of miles from town. You'll be able to enjoy your own patio entrance (pond view) with access to a firepit. We are close to the White Pine Trail. We think you'll find the space peaceful & cozy. There is a stairway to the upstairs, but it is curtained off and covered with foam board for privacy. You will have the entire floor & entrance to yourself!

Take a break and unwind at this peaceful oasis, lots to do here, soak in the hot tub, enjoy yourself by the fire pit, the lake is a 4 min drive, public beach, gas station with delicious food near by, plenty of board games, 2 tvs with Wi-Fi. During the summer there is corn hole and ladder ball game available to use outdoors. The rooster saloon is a 5 min drive with amazing chicken wings! Pontoon Boat rental available for the day! Little Log cabin on the Big Muskegon River.

This sweet little cabin on the river is a remodeled/updated log cabin from the 1940’s. Simple and slightly rustic, with everything you need for a comfortable stay! We think it has the best view on the whole river. There is shallow water and a sand bar mid-river in front of the house. The swans, geese, ospreys and Bald Eagles are a treat to watch. The cabin is a relaxing and intimate getaway for couples. It is cozy in the winter with a small hot tub overlooking a beautiful view.
