The Cottage is very private, brand new and 50m from the main house. Full kitchen facilities with dishwasher and deck with BBQ and outside fire brazier. Smart TV with Netflix for lazy days.

With the Paparoa track huts booked for over a year in advance, the bungalow’s location in the heart of Blackball is ideal for a bright and early start to the Great Walk, a recharge after a gruelling trek, or even as a base if you are just in town to explore the unique history of Blackball.

Sunset Bach

It is a Bach, which is a small modest holiday home. Great location, beach opposite. Hosts live on site. Nearest places is Punakaiki or Charleston, either one, a 15 minute drive. Fox River is 5 minutes away, (4.5 km), where each Sunday, over the summer, there is a local market day, crafts, food etc. We now have cell phone coverage. We now have all new floor coverings, carpet and vinyl. Also a new electric stove installed.

Ikamatua B &B - The accomodation is set in a rural garden overlooking the village of Ikamatua. The surrounding land is our own farmland. The surrounding rivers have excellent fishing. Great walks nearby. Good stopover when heading towards glaciers if heading south or north towards Nelson, Blenheim, or Picton. The local hotel in Ikamatua does great evening meals, this is only 5mins from accommodation.
