The Deer Hut

Take it easy at this unique and tranquil getaway. Our little quirky and cosy hut offers you a little piece of our farm to relax in. It’s within the old walled kitchen garden that we call the meadow. With views towards the Yorkshire wolds and only 2 miles from Cayton Bay beach. Cayton village is within walking distance with its 2 great pubs one being the award winning Farrier. We are a working farm with sheep and cattle. Lots of wildlife live on the meadow and horses graze in the fields around.

With its double height vaulted ceiling and full height double aspect windows the open plan kitchen living diner offers a light and airy space to unwind and enjoy the view of surrounding fields. Having views over farmland the cottage sits on the edge of the North Yorkshire Moors National Park with access to a right of way across fields. Scarborough town centre and the twin bays with sandy beaches are within easy reach combining seaside attractions with stunning countryside for walking, cycling, picnics and friendly places to eat
