This little gem of a spot is on a secluded island in the middle of the Mississippi River. The sound of the rapids will lull you to sleep in your magical tent perched right over the water! With all of the modern conveniences including hot water, outdoor shower, bar fridge, wifi and well appointed outdoor kitchen. This year we are building a treehouse on the island so although we will ensure no construction takes place during your stay, there will be construction materials around on the island

Luxury meets camping in this brand new canvas wall tent nestled in the trees. Thoughtfully designed and hand crafted millwork makes this space stunning. This private location creates the best spot to escape it all while still being close to the historic and vibrant town of Nelson. Enjoy a glass of wine on the patio while watching the abundant wildlife meander by. With next to no light pollution, peak through the telescope to marvel at the stars. This romantic getaway awaits you.

Glamping Tent

Unwind in our cozy off-grid glamping tent, which features a comfy bed, propane powered outdoor shower, rustic outhouse, firepit/grill, and a picnic area. This is not a drive up site, the walk to site is about a minute. Wagons are provided to assist you in bringing your belongings to site. There is no hydro or running water on property, the water for the shower will be supplied for you. Occasional tool sounds may be heard as we continue developing the land.

Fern & Forest Glamping Tent

Escape to a peaceful forest retreat beside a beautiful creek. Fern & Forest features a cozy queen bed, comfortable seating area, and the soothing sounds of nature all around you. Nestled among towering trees, the tent is a 5-minute walk from the driveway, offering privacy and immersion in the forest. A full bathroom is available in the main house, approximately a 4-minute walk from the tent, while the outdoor bathroom is currently under construction.
