Welcome to the Whitsundays, my name is Melanie and I will be your host. Our family home is tucked away in the backdrop of national parks. With the Whitsundays on our door step you are a short day trip to the Islands, Great Barrier Reef and Whitehaven Beach. The Whitsundays offers a great diversity of attractions, activities and experiences with the stunning backdrop of the Great Barrier Reef and 74 island wonders. You will find plenty to do when on holidays here from Bush walks to snorkel trips.

Sweet & Central

Keep it simple at this peaceful and centrally located home on the main street of North Mackay. Step out the gate to the beautiful Gooseponds walk, which will take you past a skate park, exercise stations, playgrounds and the community pool , Taverns 500m either way from the front door, convenience/takeaway store across the street. It's all there. The home is fully equipped with a cleared clean space for you to enjoy. Relax on the back deck lounge or enjoy dinner outside on the bar style setting.

New suite with ocean, hilly rainforest and island views, providing a sense of peace and beauty. Close to the action of Airlie's restaurants and shops, yet tucked away enough to be a very relaxing experience Own entrance, balcony, garden landing, bathroom and kitchenette. 4 min drive or 15 min downhill walk to main street and public transport. Birds, breezes, treed valleys, rock gardens and wildlife. Suite situated at northern end of home, some daily sounds may be heard. Respecting your privacy.

The Garden Shed

Once a 1950's built carport, now a cosy cabin within a garden. It's unique, it's artistic, it oozes creativity and it was built almost entirely by us. The main room features a comfortable queen bed, a Smart TV, mini fridge, microwave, coffee machine, toaster and kettle, and a few other appliances. Through the french doors your find a small outdoor cooking station, sink and a bar. A few metres further into the heart of the garden you have your own cute little pergola with a table for two.

Pinnacolo Farm Stay

Situated in the lush green cane fields of the Pioneer Valley, Pinnacolo is ideal for that perfect get away. Let yourself be immersed in the best the Pioneer Valley has to offer, with close proximity to Finch Hatton Gorge, Eungella, The Finch Hatton Mountain Bike Trail to name just a few. Spend your time relaxing in the outdoor tub or call for the courtesy bus to pick you up for a sneaky pie and a pint at the world famous Pinnacle Pub. Whatever you choose you won't want to leave.

My place is close to great views and plenty of wildlife. It is great for romantic getaways or exploring the rainforest to see birds, platypus in the creek at Broken River or just to hang out. The name "Eungella" means "land of cloud" so when you wake up in the morning you will likely be surrounded by thick cooling cloud which clears by about 9am to a beautiful sunny day with the wildlife just waiting to be discovered! Eungella is over an hour from Mackay.
