The Burren Farmhouse has been at the centre of a working farm for over 200 years. The farmhouse was originally renovated in 1850 and been the O’Grady family home since that time. It has been lovingly restored. You are very welcome to this home on a working farm in the Burren. It is a great space to enjoy with family and friends.

Aughinish Island is accessed by a 1 km causeway (not tidal) and is an area of unspoilt beauty with local pebble beaches a five minute walk away and the sandy beach of Traught a ten min drive away (8 km). You'll be staying on the Clare-Galway border with both the wildness of the Burren and Galway city at your doorstep.

The Traditional Farmhouse is also used for holiday let accommodation and has its own private entrance. It sits along side The Old Cowshed and both are set on a 20 acre traditional farm overlooking the Burren National Park. The property is 5 min by car from the Village of Corofin and 14 minutes from Ennis the county town of County Clare.
