The carriage house is a converted garage behind a historic home in downtown Morganton. The historic building had some restored original finishes such as a claw foot tub, trough sink, and farm house sink in the kitchen. Downstairs original wood bead board ceilings. Upstairs the ceiling was removed to expose the roof and beams. Two fireplaces keep it cozy - even if it's raining on your trip you'll have a lovely place relax, hang a hammock from the rafters and listen to the rain on the metal roof.
