The Gladstone Heritage Stay + Barstool Stories

The Gladstone Hotel was built in 1887 and is listed on the Broken Hill Silver Trail Drive (#84). The front bar remains untouched since 1924! This private, peaceful sanctuary in the desert is a short walk to shops, transport and parks for kids and K9s. Full aircon/heating. With 2 bedrooms available, we can accomodate 4 but there's a sofa lounge in the library if required for extras... while there, check out our book exchange! A cute, cosy stay in the peaceful, North-Eastern side of Broken Hill. An early 1900s, tin cottage recently renovated for all your needs, just a five minute drive from the heart of town or catch the bus from out the front. We've tried to maintain some quirky Broken Hill cottage characteristics, whilst providing modern comfort, styled in a way to help cool & calm the weary traveler. If you like a bit of character you'll find it here whilst relaxing in reverse cycle heating/cooling & spa bath.

This house has been loved by artists and musicians and would suite a creative person to share the space! There is a dedicated studio space as well if it’s desired. With an outdoor hot bath on the deck, entertaining area and functional kitchen, it’s also welcoming for all guests who just want a cosy get away. The kitchen and bathroom are technically shared spaces but the host who is a local artist primarily lives further down the block. So you basically get the whole house to yourself.
