Located in the centre of the lovely village of Kilburn on the edge of the North Yorkshire Moors National Park, the Little House is peaceful, cosy and self-contained, tucked away from the general hustle and bustle of the village with a safe garden for dogs and children. The Forresters Arms, serving local ales and meals, is a mere 20m across the square, it is best to reserve a table. The Mouseman Furniture Centre is just around the corner and the White Horse of Kilburn is a good walk up the hill.

We’ve recently (2021) renovated an apple store and stable in our garden into a beautiful space. You can spot the restored apple picking ladders and exposed bricks from the original building. Located in the heart of Dishforth Village it’s walking distance a village drinking pub and a five minute drive to the award winning Crab & Lobster restaurant and The Angel at Topcliffe.

Spinney Cottage, Pateley Bridge

Spinney Cottage is a beautifully restored home located just outside the town of Pateley Bridge in Nidderdale, a short drive from the Yorkshire Dales and Harrogate. Built in 1883 and full of characterful features such as woodburning stove and exposed stone walls, the Cottage is very well equipped with BBQ, firepit, and outdoor seating. Set in 4 acres of gardens and woodland, guests can make the most of our peaceful location. Ideal for walkers, cyclists and those looking for a calming retreat.

Quaint Old Chapel is set in the heart of rural Catton village, Thirsk, North Yorkshire. With much to see & do near and far, the outings are endless. This quirky quaint detached cottage has a luxury hot tub spa included in the price, temperature controlled pet friendly dog wash and parking for two cars. It has so much to offer and the area is of stunning views and beauty. Many walks and bike rides for you and your pets to enjoy including a beautiful river walk along the River Swale..

The Salt House Cottage, Pilmoor

Guests have a small private grassed area with a table and chairs. The cottage has dishwasher, washing machine and wood burning stove, all logs included. We do not accept pets. In summer, when the swing seat is out, guests have access to the main garden. The cottage has no internet connection but depending on your network, a good 3G or 4G signal can be accessed. We do not accept bookings from people who smoke or vape. Check in from 2pm, check out 10am.

Manor Farm Cottage Milby, Boroughbridge.

Milby is a quiet hamlet about half a mile from Boroughbridge. The cottage adjoins the main house but is completely self-contained. There is a private yard and parking area. The cottage is close to Boroughbridge which has pubs, cafes, restaurants and shops. Ripon, Knaresborough, Harrogate, York, The Yorkshire Dales and the North Yorkshire Moors are all within easy reach. Sorry no pets.
