~PET FRIENDLY - Modern, sunny and very well situated, Ashley Heights offers views of Mt John and the turquoise lake up to the mountain ranges beyond. It is located near the top of the Lochinver Rise, just 4 minutes drive from the village. The cosy open plan living, dining and full kitchen area has floor to ceiling, double-glazed doors and windows perfectly positioned to allow guests to soak in panoramic views under the big sky, receiving plenty of light and sunshine all year round.

Cosy cottage set in two hectares of forest. Log burner, outdoor pizza oven, well equipped kitchen, beautiful surroundings. Build huts, lay in the hammock or relax under the stars in the outdoor bath. Fully fenced so safe for kids to play & explore. Great for the snow in winter and lakes in summer. 30min to Dobson ski area, 45min to Fox Peak, 50 min to Roundhill. Lake Opuha 10 min. Take a day trip to Lake Tekapo (25min) to enjoy Tekapo Springs and Mt John Observatory.

Mackenzie Cottage - Close to Centre

Welcome to our Twizel Bach, this is an original hydro house in the Twizel township, with a recently renovated kitchen, bathroom and double glazed windows to keep you toasty warm in Winter. Pet Friendly and only 5 minutes walk to the shops and restaurants. Twizel is a beautiful spot with so much to offer, very close to the lakes for boating and fishing, the gorgeous lagoon for swimming and watersports such as paddleboarding, lots of nearby walking and bicycle tracks.

Number 8 | Lake Tekapo

Positioned high above Lake Tekapo, Number 8 takes full advantage of its panoramic views. Great interior design compliments the natural beauty of its surroundings. The open plan lounge, dining and kitchen area share beautiful views towards the lake and mountains. The lounge opens out to an expansive deck with a built-in BBQ and outdoor seating, allowing great indoor/outdoor flow. Light and sunny, with both a heatpump and fireplace, this is a house for all seasons.

CLASSIC KIWI FAMILY BATCH Unlimited WIFI. *Family Orientated, with Toys/games and bikes. Great place for a couple of families, there is plenty of room for everyone. 2 Bedrooms in the home, Plus plenty of Bunks in the sleep-out with a toilet and basin also. The sunroom overlooks the street is a lovely quiet spot to relax & read a book. The Fully fenced section is spacious and private, with a sheltered BBQ area. Pets= we do accept pets, but they must stay outdoors.

The Brown House

The Brown House was tragically lost in 2020 in New Zealand’s worst fire disaster that devastated the village Award winning architect Lisa Webb who designed the first Brown House was enlisted to design the rebuild. The results are just as stunning This four-bedroom retreat accommodates up to ten guests. Each bedroom offers breathtaking views. The house includes two living areas a dedicated office space, two bathrooms and a fully equipped kitchen.

Tranquil on Totara - Free Unlimited Wifi

Tranquil on Totora, is a modern spacious four-bedroom home, with a large open plan kitchen/living room, that opens onto a sun-drenched deck area. With three heat pumps located throughout the house, you can keep cosy and warm in the winter and cool in the summer. This home is centrally located and only a 10-minute walk to the Town Centre. This house is a fantastic base to allow you to explore Mount Cook, Tekapo and the many local lakes and ski fields.

The Rusty Shed

Get away from it all when you hunker down under the stars. Kiwi holidays the way they use to be but with a touch more comfort. Direct access to the track down to Lake Middleton and just a short stroll to Lake Ohau. A true year round destination with hot summers enjoyed on the lake, exploring the many bike and hike trails in the area, or chasing trophy fish. The cold dry winters spent exploring the Ohau Ski feild just mins from the village.
