The Carriage House Suites - the North Suite

Welcome to the Carriage House Suites located on the edge of beautiful Blyth Ontario. The suites are next to the historical former Grand Trunk Railway Station that is converted into a home. There is so much to do in Blyth and surrounding area, from dining, live theatre, a craft brewery, to shopping, and beautiful trails. The suites are a short twenty minute drive to the beaches of Lake Huron. There are two suites available, the North Suite and the South Suite. The suites are listed separately.

Watch the ducks, frogs, herons, birds, turtles & a variety of wildlife. Enjoy the stars & roast marshmallows at the camp fire. Fully stocked kitchen, BBQ, wood stove, fire pit and 3 piece bathroom. Spend a starry night in the country with the comfort of a soft bed, a wood stove, and plenty of space both indoors and out. Our yurt is located in a pocket of trees next to rolling farm fields and beautiful conservation land that the Rocklyn creek meanders through. You can prepare your meals in a sweet outdoor kitchen that is entirely screened in- or choose to sit by the fire. Bruce Trail access is just around the corner, and the towns of Meaford and Owen Sound are a short scenic drive away.

A bunky with 4 bunk beds is included should you choose to use it. Bring your hiking boots or snow shoes and check out the near by trails! Private beach access steps away!

Golfing, hiking trails/biking, fishing, boating, kayaking, canoeing, shopping, theatre, museum, Saturday farmers market, beaches, great restaurants, local breweries and wineries. Many local festivals and events throughout the summer months. Beautiful beach areas, only 5 minutes away. 5 golf courses within five to twenty minutes. Local YMCA (pool). Note: Wood hot tub replaced in 2025 with jacuzzi spa Cabin heated by wood stove in the winter months and supplemented with a mini split heater. Firewood/kindling provided Cabin situated on heavily treed 1 acre property with a creek directly in front of a quiet municipal road
