Completely renovated 10th floor Penthouse on a High Country mountaintop above 5280 feet enjoys breath taking panoramic views overlooking Grandfather Mountain as well as awe inspiring, ever-changing views of the valley and ridgeline in this highland mountain region. Our mile-high 2-bedroom, 2-bath home with 10' ceilings is fully equipped and conveniently located in Sugar Mountain village, above the town of Banner Elk and within a (10 minute) drive of restaurants, groceries, and outdoor gear.

Located 9 miles from Blowing Rock Village, 6 miles from Grandfather Mtn and 4 miles from the Blue Ridge Parkway, Wildberry Cottage is situated on three acres bordering the Nat’l Forest. There is a gorgeous view from the deck where visitors are welcome to relax. The guest space is a suite (entire floor) with two br (1 full, 1 twin), a kitchenette (in single room) and a full bath. Parking at top of paved drive may be necessary for rear-wheel drive cars during inclement weather.

Cozy Condo at Sugar Mountain Ski Resort

200 yards from the slopes, 400 yards from the golf course and the tennis courts, Cozy Condo with its nice deck is the perfect place to relax with friends, family and Fido. This apartment does not have AC because it is located 5200 feet above the sea level. Due to the high elevation, of Sugar Mountain, the highest temperatures are high 70s during the afternoon which does not happen a lot, and 60s during the night.

Our Cabin is brand new as of the end of August 2017. My place is close to Ski Sugar (2 miles), Ski Beech (6 miles), Grandfather Mtn, Boone, Blowing Rock, Tweetsie Railroad, Blue Ridge Parkway. You’ll love my place because it's Nested in the Lush surroundings of the Blue Ridge Mtns. Our cabin offers all the comforts of your own home combined with the beauty and serenity of the Blue Ridge Mountains.
