This 4-course workshop lasts approximately 2.5 hours and is a great introduction to the world of paella and Spanish cuisine.  You will be greeted by one of our hosts with a glass of cava and then walked through the concept behind The Paella Club and the ingredients we work with. Afterwards, guests will organise themselves in groups of one-two per cooking station, where they will find every utensil and ingredient needed to cook each paella under the promise of a fully immersive and dynamic experience. Depending on the size of the class, several varieties of paella will be made at each class so that all of the guests are able to learn how to create and taste more than one type of paella.  You will feel at home while our staff guides you through our "10 secret paella steps." As a preview, we'll give away one of the 10 secret steps: Step 1—take a sip of our premium wine. The paella workshop itself has a duration of 45 minutes to an hour. After the workshop is over, while the paellas are finishing cooking, you will sit and enjoy other courses made by our chef as well as your paella creations with Catalan wine pairing. Primer, us presentarem la història de les espardenyes i els materials necessaris per a la seva construcció. Aprendràs sobre aquesta bonica tradició catalana i sobre com aquesta sabata va passar de ser construïda per i per a persones humils, a ser una de les més actuals de moda actualment. A continuació, cada convidat triarà el color i la mida de la base, els cordons i els fils. Un cop llest, cosirem les nostres pròpies espardenyes tradicionals, i després aprendrem les diferents maneres de lligar-les segons el teu gust i estil. Discover the wonders of the famous mountain Montserrat, a national Park and place of pilgrimage from millions of people around the world. We will meet at Barcelona centre and we will begin our experience. Join your guide in an air-conditioned private (not public transportation) vehicle in Barcelona for a drive up to Montserrat, named after its peculiar aspect with multitude of rock formations, it literally means saw mountain. Enjoy the view and hear about Montserrat’s Basilica and Monastery, home of la Moreneta (Black Madonna). Unlike other tours, we offer an early access to visit Montserrat monastery before the crowds arrive. Once there, you will enjoy a guided tour (45 minutes), where we will discover what is Montserrat and its secrets: we will visit the farmer’s market, enter the basilica and touch the famous Black Madonna (available on our 8:30 am and our 1:30 pm tour). We will travel by minibus from Barcelona to the mountaintop monastery of Montserrat. This mountain and its Monastery which was founded in the 10th century and still functions to this day, with over 150 monks. After the visit of the Monastery, we will go to the ranch to start our horseback riding along the Natural Park, offering breathtaking views of Montserrat. All while enjoying the freedom and tranquillity of the countryside. Due to the large number of visitors, the visit may be delayed on Saturdays and Sundays. During Mondays, the horses rest and we will go to another ranch different from the main one. Other things to note -This horseback experience is appropriate for all levels of skill and ability. -Due to horse safety restrictions, anyone with a weight above 95 KG or below 12 years of age won't be allowed to join this activity -Pregnant wowen cannot join the experience - The visit to the Moreneta is not guaranteed

Després de 45 minuts de viatge en furgoneta, arribarem a Montserrat on començarem el dia visitant el monestir i descobrint els seus secrets i apassionat història. Montserrat es una muntanya amb una llarga història i envoltada mitologia i llegendes. Des de que la Moreneta fou trobada en una cova per uns pastors, fins als nostres dies nombroses històries i llegendes se situen a la màgica muntanya. Començant per la que fa referència a la seva formació per part dels àngels que la serraren amb serra d’or, la del Cavall Bernat o del Fra Garí repassarem algunes de les llegendes que s’han anat transmetent de generació en generació. Una vegada visitat el Monestir, ens prepararem i començarem la nostra ruta de senderisme. La Muntanya de Montserrat ha estat sempre un lloc amb una energia especial i forta espiritualitat que des de temps immemorials ha atret nombroses persones. Al segle XI a Montserrat ja hi havia uns 300 ermitans vivint en coves en el més absolut recolliment. La comunitat es va mantenir fins al segle XIX i ha deixat a la muntanya un ric patrimoni en forma d’ermites. Seguint camins creats per pelegrins i ermitans descobrirem algunes de les ermites de la màgica muntanya, situades en indrets ben amagats envoltats de paisatges d’una bellesa que mai no hauríem imaginat trobar. Durant el recorregut reviurem la peculiar i desconeguda forma de viure dels ermitans i gaudirem d’espectaculars vistes des d’algunes mirandes solitàries. Després d’admirar els grans paisatges, descobrir l’apassionant història que amaga la muntanya i reviure algunes de les seves llegendes començarem a baixar per un camí a través dels boscos de la muntanya que ens portarà de tornada al monestir, on tindrem una mica de temps lliure abans de tornar cap a Barcelona.
