Shandwick is one of three small coastal communities that along with Balintore and Hilton that make up the seaboard villages. Newly built and finished to a high standard, enjoy a stylish experience at this centrally-located one bedroom private guest space. Located in the Royal Burgh of Tain, off the A9 & NC500 route, this well equipped space is situated in a family garden with off road parking. The self contained building boasts, a double (UK standard) bedroom, shower room and kitchen/diner/sitting area. Large patio doors lead out to the decked area in the garden. 35 miles north of Highland capital Inverness.

This charming cottage is completely unique having the old Redcastle ruin as a back drop and views of the Beauly Firth directly in front. There is an idyllic stream going through the garden and we have recently planted a wild flower meadow at the end of the garden. It has been beautifully refurbished in 2023 and we feel incredibly proud of the results. The cottage is located in the sleepy hamlet of Milton of Redcastle and really is an idyllic and very comfortable place to come and unwind.

Foulis Castle, Evanton is near the ancient burgh of Dingwall. Foulis Castle is a 15 min walk away from the Storehouse Restaurant & Farm shop, which is situated on the shore/beach of the Cromarty Firth (Mon-Sat, 9-5pm). You’ll love my place because of privacy of having your own country retreat within beautifully landscaped gardens. My place is small with one bedroom that contains either x2 singles or zip&link super-king size bed. The 3rd guest is on a roll-away mattress ideal for a child.

Situated beside the shores of the Cromarty Firth with spectacular views to the Black Isle our cottage sleeps six comfortably, and is ideally placed for touring, with access to superb beaches, forests, hill walking, golf, etc. The NC 500 route is minutes away. One of the best natural harbours in Europe, the Royal Navy had a base here until 1956. Now oil rigs line up in the Firth and liners visit every week in the summer season. Invergordon's spectacular murals are a must see!

'The Steading’ is a barn cabin on a working farm with wood burning stove set near the North Coast 500 route. Enjoy the peace of the Highlands while painting, writing, yoga, walking and cycling or simply relaxing in front of the fire with a cup of tea. NO SHOWER / NO HOT running water. Sanitizer and hand soap provided. Take your own bedding or very basic bedding provided. No phone signal/WiFi.
