Our lovingly restored and converted stone barn. Our aim is for guests to experience a historic and traditional Irish country home, while enjoying the comforts of modern living. We have SKYTV, DVD and WIFI but we can also offer the peace and quiet of the rural Irish countyside. Three double bedrooms compliment a spacious open plan ground floor. With its own grounds and parking, this stone property is on the edge of three counties and perfect for exploring the ancient south east and its coast.

Go wild swimming 10 steps away surrounded by nature.The open plan ground floor includes a fully equipped kitchen , dining area and a generous living area and balcony .Its a five minute walk to Clashganny Hse. Restaurant and all the amenities of the river Barrow,including looped forest walks ,Go with the flow kayaking and swimming .

Forget your worries in this spacious and serene space. Own entrance hall with carpeted stairs bringing you to open plan living area consisting of sitting room and kitchen and dining area. Bedrooms to either end of living area and bathroom centrally located. Bathroom consists of power shower, toilet and washhand basin. The master bedroom and living room also has a 32inch flatscreen TV. The kitchen includes typical kitchen appliances. Washing machine and dryer available in shed at side of house.

Our house is located just outside of Wexford town. The property overlooks the river Slaney and the guests can look out their kitchen window at the river. Our apartment can accommodate 2 adults, 1 child and an infant. "Stable Cottage" is an old traditional style, converted stone barn, near our historic old farmhouse. It retains many original features such as the original old natural slated roof, old beams, pine boarded floors, exposed original stone walls etc. etc.. It is very quiet and peaceful, on a small working tillage farm. Originally, it was the stable where the horses were sheltered and fed for the winter months while the wheat, feed oats etc was stored on the loft overhead.

The house is ideally situated for a quick stop heading to or from the ferry in Rosslare, as it is approx 30 minutes away , or stay a bit longer and see all that Wexford has to offer.
