The Carriage House and city of Morganton have power and are ready visitors. This guest house sits behind a historic home in downtown Morganton. The 1920s structure has restored original finishes : a claw foot tub, vintage bathroom sink, and farm house sink in the kitchen. Downstairs features original wood bead board ceilings. Upstairs the ceiling was removed to expose the roof and beams. Two fireplaces keep it cozy - you'll have a lovely place relax and listen to the rain on the metal roof.

The Tuckamore is nestled close to the Rail Trail, an easy walking trail through town. Conveniently located an hour from Charlotte, NC and a half an hour from great hiking in South Mountains State Park. It has since been relocated, renovated, rejuvenated and found its way to the perfect location on our farm. Nestled in the beautiful foothills of the blueridge mountains, this one of a kind getaway is perfect for couples, small families or individuals. You can enjoy your morning coffee or stargaze at night from the rooftop deck, which boasts an amazing view of the South Mountains.
