A magical stroll through the woods leads to the suspension bridge. You won't believe you're only minutes from town. Wear appropriate shoes as it is a short 2-minute hike to the tree house. At times, it can get a little slick.

Please note that access to the river is less than three minutes down the road to the right/left of the cabin. This home features a fantastic front porch to drink your coffee on and a large backyard! Both Silver Falls State Park and Abiqua Falls are under 20mi from this location and worth the trip.

This "one bedroom plus the loft as the 2nd bedroom country cottage is so cozy and functional, and nestled in the foothills of the Cascades. You will love getting away to this wooded cottage with all of the amenities of home. Take a stroll through the woods or visit the onsite pond with Paddle boat, barbeque grill and gazebo with picnic table. Also come meet our horse - Sugarbear, and our sweet Donkey (Shewee). The Hideout | A Modern Tiny Cabin Near Mt. Hood

The Woodlands Hideout is a small intentional semi-offgrid retreat space, featured on Dwell. It was designed and built by Further Society and created to allow guests to immerse in the beauty of the natural world, but still offer some cozy and more essential comforts. Although the footprint of the space is small, we designed the experience to be outward focussed, so it feels very expansive with the towering pine trees in view.
