A unique one bedroom detached stone cottage built in 1807, with far reaching views over the historic village of Avening to Gatcombe Wood. The recently refurbished house, with log burning stove, south facing lounge/kitchen/dining room, bedroom, en-suite and dry stone walled courtyard garden, will provide a cosy retreat. The cottage is available with a super king size bed. Alternatively, twin beds with prior notice. The kitchen is equipped with fridge, hob, oven, dishwasher and microwave.

Modern Hayloft in Cotswolds

The hayloft is very old but we have converted it into a 2 bed suite (one double bed & one big round bed on the mezzanine) with a 'shed bathroom' and a large lounge. It is on top of part of our own house (above the kitchen) but has a separate private entrance and a door onto the garden. There is no kitchen facility - think hotel rooms rather than self catering! It is right in the heart of the village a couple of hundred metres from good restaurants, ancient pubs and independent shops.

The Stableyard

Nestling within the beautiful golden valley in the heart of the Cotswolds is The Stableyard, a recently converted stable building positioned next to a 16th century mill owner's house, The Old Valley Inn. The barn was once used as the dye house for the working cloth mill in the 1800's, however during the war the dye house was repurposed as a cowshed and now recently converted into a home.
