Craigieburn garden bothy is a glamping-type single room bothy in a lovely 6-acre garden in beautiful Moffatdale, a great location for walkers and cyclists. The garden has woodlands, waterfalls, wildlife and exceptional planting for you to roam in. The bothy has no mains water or electricity so is a real alternative experience, with separate flush toilet and washing facilities. Otherwise all home comforts are provided with double bed, kitchenette and wood-burning stove to create a cosy atmosphere

It is perched just above the waves with the most beautiful views across Portling Bay to the white sands of Merse Head nature reserve. The Steading is a beautiful two-bedroom cottage with a sitting room/fully equipped kitchen log stove, in a tranquil setting surrounded by beautiful countryside, a short drive from Kirkcudbright and Castle Douglas. Fully equipped with linen, crockery, cutlery, and a washer/dryer/dishwasher. Two wet rooms/bathrooms, two bedrooms, one with a double bed and one with two single beds. We welcome 1-2well-behaved dogs, but they must be on a lead whenever outside.
