Nestled in the woods of Arnold, CA, this mountain cabin is the perfect jumping off point for people looking to ski Bear Valley (30 mins), take in the giant sequoias at Calaveras Big Trees State Park (15 mins), fish the North Fork of the Stanislaus River, or easy trips to Lake Alpine and other gorgeous mountain lakes nearby. Not into adventure? The cabin also offers great lounging by the fire and two large decks to take in the fresh air.

Fully outfitted 4-bedroom home in Arnold, CA (elevation 4000 feet). Vintage family home, full of antiques and collectibles, not a modern house. If you like visiting grandma's, this will be cozy and comfortable. Great for families with kids or 2-3 couples. No Central AC, but one portable room AC upstairs. Behaved dogs OK, but no smoking please. Three bedrooms with Queen beds, plus dorm with six twin beds. WI-FI , TV with DVD player and lots of DVDs. Restaurants and grocery 5 minutes away.

We're close to sledding, skiing, lakes with sandy beaches, river rafting, fishing, hiking, and more. After a long day of exploring, soak in our spa under the stars or watch a movie in our theater.

Come enjoy this rustic cottage surrounded by nature on our 114 acre homestead in the Sierra Nevada Foothills. Peaceful private forest setting. Only one block off of Hwy 4, walking distance to stores and eateries. One bedroom with one double size bed and a large loft, (up the spiral staircase) with one double size bed. Sheets and Towels are provided. Nice deck for outside dining. Dog friendly! (The yard is not fenced). Note: A small air conditioner is in the living room. It is a cabin in the mountains so it will not be as toasty as home. NOTE: Verizon works, AT&T has little or no reception in this area.

Hit the Big Trees Village recreation pool after lunch and then enjoy forest shade, a gas BBQ and fire-pit in the fenced yard as everyone (puppos included) find their favorite spot to relax as the sun goes down. 2 Dog Lodge in Camp Connell is perfectly situated for the whole family to enjoy the mountains this summer!
