A beautifully renovated farmhouse, dating from 1694. A country setting just over a mile from Orton Village in the Westmorland Dales bordering the Lake District National Parks. Approx 5 minutes from j38 and j39 of M6, within easy reach of Orton village's amenties, including pub, cafe, village shop/postoffice and chocolate factory. Ideal as a holiday base for exploring the local area or as short stopover en-route to and from the north. Dogs welcome enclosed garden and walks from the doorstep.

Great base for exploring the area. With pubs and coop 5 minute drive or 25 minute walk. Recently renovated to a high standard but still feels characterful and cosy. Underfloor heating, induction hob and super insulated. 2 well behaved dogs only are allowed for a small fee. Sorry no other pets allowed.

Situated in a tranquil village location with lots of amazing attractions within a short drive, as well as some lovely walks from the door. Spacious and welcoming kitchen/breakfast room with full appliances. Large, cosy living/dining room, two double bedrooms (can be king/king or king/twin) and a bathroom with bath and shower over. Fully enclosed and private garden. Ideal for touring the Lake District and Pennines.

18th Century Country Cottage on a working farm

The Old Smithy was the original farm house built in the 18th Century. Completely renovated from derelict in 2002 and freshly redecorated in 2021, it boasts many of its original features; including the old fire range which will keep you warm on those winter nights (an initial basket of logs is F.O.C.) Downstairs, sandstone flag floors and oak beamed ceilings are throughout. A biomass boiler heats the cottage with timber sourced from the farm. Includes laundry, towels, heating and electricity.

Easy access to Penrith, Keswick & Barnard Castle. We are dog friendly with a traditional lounge, cosy log burner, good wifi, smart TV, garden, 3 upstairs bedrooms & a bathroom.

Located in the northern area of the Yorkshire Dales National Park, there is access to the surrounding fells and countryside from the doorstep. It is a great location for visiting the Yorkshire Dales and Lake District national parks. An amazing and special place for friends or family to get together for a weekend retreat, short break or longer holiday.

Tucked away in the peaceful hamlet of Reagill near Shap, Sycamore Barn is the perfect base for exploring the Lake District, Eden Valley and Yorkshire Dales. Set beside a working dairy farm, you’ll often see cows, sheep and the farmer’s horses grazing in the surrounding fields, along with resident bunnies and, if you’re lucky, even a red squirrel. After a day exploring, relax by the log burner and enjoy the peace and quiet. A peaceful base for adventure or simply switching off.

Mini Murton House is a converted dog friendly barn situated in the peaceful village of Murton. There is a Finnish wood burning hot tub on your own private south facing patio. The barn retains many original features, with exposed beams and large barn door. Cosy wood burning stove, fitted kitchen, 2 bedrooms (1 mezzanine level). We are trying to be as environmentally friendly as possible: The Mini Murton House toilet has been twinned, we have 4 recycling bins and a composter.

The Mill, Rutter Falls,

Comfortable converted watermill sleeping one or two couples, overlooking a spectacular waterfall, in the tranquil Eden Valley, between Lake District and Yorkshire Dales. The deep pool below the falls is ideal for cold-water swimming. Perfect for a romantic getaway, or watching abundant birds and wildlife, for honeymoons, anniversaries or engagements! You won't find accommodation closer to rushing water than this! No under 12s. Check in Fridays and Mondays only.

The Cushion Cottage is situated right next door to the Crown and Cushion a super pub and tea room serving food all day from 8am (ideal for breakfast) in the centre of Appleby in Westmorland , the Lounge, Diner and fully fitted Kitchen along with the family bathroom with bath and separate shower are situated on the 1st floor with 2 bedrooms downstairs one with a double bed and one with two single beds, both have their own TV, Complementary Wi-Fi is available.
