This unique stay provides endless opportunities for exploring and experiencing Mother Nature’s bounty at its best! Falling Springs falls, the Jackson River, The Homestead and The Greenbrier Resort are all nearby! Outdoor activities are available throughout the area: ample hiking trails, kayaking excursions, fishing, Lake Moomaw, the infamous natural, warm spring waters bubbling from the earth, etc.!

Secluded couple’s mountain cabin

A couple’s secluded retreat in a newly constructed (2020) single level creek view cabin with knotty pine. The parking area is equipped with a 230Vac/120Vac charge station for electric vehicles. The cabin has all comforts of home. 35 foot Trex deck along front of cabin to view song birds and hummingbirds. Ring security disabled. Outdoor fire ring with plenty of wood. Kayaks, floats, and fishing tackle supplied for fun in a beautiful creek. Our cabin has one king size bed designed for a couple.

Peaceful Mountain Retreat! Hidden away but close to Covington Va and White Sulphur Springs Wv. Beautifully furnished log cabin with 73 acres situated on top of Big Ridge Mountain in the Western part of Alleghany County Virginia. The Cabin is equipped with heating, A/C, ceiling fans throughout, gas log fireplace and an outdoor gas fire pit, washer/dryer, and TV ( StarLink satellite) with DVD player. We are pet friendly for well behaved animals but do require an additional fee for pets.

Multiple outdoor areas to enjoy the sights and sounds of the creek include the back porch, observation deck with Adirondack chairs, and walking path that leads to a stunning view of the Potts Creek “Sinks.” Enjoy the tranquil natural environment as you make use of the outdoor grill, picnic area, fire pit, and hot tub.

2 Bedroom, 1 Bath Cabin on the Creek! This creekside retreat offers the perfect getaway w/ 1 queen bed, 2 twin beds and 1 queen sleeper sofa. This home offers Central Air and Heat, a fully equipped kitchen w/ SS appliances and everything to make meals. Large covered pavillion for relaxing and grilling! A wood burning fire-pit w/ Adirondack chairs for gathering at night, kayaks for exploring the water, tubes for relaxing on the water, and bikes for exploring the upcoming trail! 6 Person

This totally renovated cabin sits by the banks of beautiful Craig Creek. The Hideaway backs up to the 4,600+ acre Grace Furnace tract of National Forest. There are no neighbors in sight and the traffic is sparse.Sit on the screened porch or relax by the water's edge with the fire pit. The water is usually deep enough to swim in front of the house, and you can float for miles! You can fish right from the yard and catch trout, small-mouth bass, rock bass, and lots more!

Cowpasture River front cottage on a 350 acre farm.

Charming 2 bedroom 1 bath guest house sleeps four looking over the Cowpasture River on a 350 acre working farm. Guest may use of our concrete tennis court and explore miles of hiking trails that lead to the national forest. Farm is surrounded by over 2.5 miles of the Cowpasture River. There is a gravel beach right beside the bridge entering the farm where one can enjoy wading and swimming. River here is 3-4 feet deep depending on the season and stream flow.
