It's the ideal location to enjoy a relaxed holiday and also be close to all the famous attractions! Het Weidehuisje voelt als een afgelegen privé paradijs, maar ligt verrassend centraal in Noord-Holland. Of je nu wil fietsen, wandelen, vissen, vogels spotten, dorpen ontdekken of gewoon even helemaal niets doen. Dit is de plek waar je op adem komt.

Stay in a traditional Dutch Miller’s Cabin beside an authentic 1632 windmill, surrounded by canals and nature in the North Holland countryside. Hand built during the windmill’s restoration, the cabin offers a peaceful and unique stay while still being close to Alkmaar and only 40 minutes from Amsterdam by train. I am a traditional Dutch miller born and raised in Alkmaar, and my American wife, Kelly, and I enjoy sharing this special place with guests from around the world.
